Headed in the Right Direction (Mostly) - Week Three Results

Well, team now the going gets tough, but we will get going, next week. Our results varied from down 1.o pound to up 0.8.

As for me, I feel good about what we have done. I am feeling more energy, greater vitality, improved flexibility, enhanced productivity and substantially increased prosperity!

All because of FatsoNoMo!

7 Whole Lbs???

How did you lose 7 pounds????? That is completely rediculous! (I lose .4 lbs. Please do not misread that... it's less than a half pound). I was with you when you sampled everything that Capital Brewing had made that day.... Oh the humanity of it!!!

Weighing one leg at a time

I have yet to conquer my scale, and just currently tried a one leg at a time method that did not work either. The diet is going strong however, and we will be allowed to introduce more carbs into our diet at the end of this week. I have never been so excited to eat bread in my entire life.
I can tell I have lost weight; though I'm still unclear on how much. Good dieting and exercise to all, and good luck.

How to lose seven pounds without really trying!

I think that an explanation is in order as I will post a weekly loss for our first week of 7.2 pounds. Even I didn't believe it until I considered my activity just prior to my first weigh-in. We went to the Capital Brewing Company and, as I knew I would, I tasted everything they offered. So, it is clear I have discovered the secret for fast weight gain. Now, we will see if I can discover the secret of consistent weight loss. As an aside, my weight gain secret was a lot of fun.

As for Toni and I, we just finished our low-cal dinner of a bushel of lettuce and a hamburger followed by dessert consisting of 400 almonds.

Fat be Damned

I have been on a gut wrenching diet of no carb/low carb for about two weeks now. I have wieghed myself, and found out that I weigh E. I'm assuming this stands for excellent and not error. My goal( with the help of the Buxom Bride) is to loose enough weight so that the scale cooperates and so that I look even better in a tux then I already do. I'm sure I will have to quit my job at five guys to achieve this so don't plan on recieving a wedding invitation any time soon. Good luck to all, and by all I mean me.

Hey all, here's the picture a little bigger. It isn't me, but it is a picture of someone who looks a lot like I feel. So there you have it.

GrandeGroom and I are doing pretty darn well on our diet. We haven't been to Taco Bell in over 2 weeks (!) w hich must set a record somewhere. I happily lost 4 lbs last week, but our challenge doesn't start til this week, so consider me on a roll! (Actually on a roll to get rid of the roll but that is neither here nor there.)

GG and I are going the low carb route, and I was delighted to see that RED WINE has zero carbs for one glass! I'm assuming that figure stays the same for 3-4 glasses, please do not correct me if I am wrong.

Lastly, a warning to all of my like-weighted competitors: You may want to lose the wieght, but I've got a big (little) white dress to fit in to and a church full of people who will be staring at my back fat.

Headed to someplace good!

We are four days into the new us and, if I do say so, we are making progress. This week, we ate reasonably every day. However, I am pleased that I took my tour of the Capital Brewing brewery and beer garden before my weigh-in, instead of after.

I would rather it go to waste than to my waist!

My new mantra for a new me. I am fed up being FAT and having a big gut. In one month I will be on my way to the old me, or to a new me. Happy but hungry. QT PIE

I have a plan for the future, my future.

I intend to lose a meaningful amount of weight by September 15th.

I have targeted a loss of 10 pounds.

If I lose 10 pounds I will reduce my weight to the point where I was several years ago when I thought that I was fat. So, I am reducing my weight by one fat increment. When I am done, I will still be fat, but I will be only as fat as I was two years ago, not as fat as I am today, err, last month.
